Planning approvals now secured

The New Performing Arts Venue project has secured all the necessary planning approvals to proceed to construction following the Ministerial Infrastructure Designation from the Queensland Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning last week.

This decision follows consideration of submissions received during the public consultation period earlier this year and an independent review of the project’s Environmental Assessment Report.

With this approval secured, and following the finalisation of the detailed design process in the coming months, it is expected major construction activities will begin mid this year.
