Glass panels add a dramatic edge to new theatre

Work is underway to install the bespoke curved glass façade for the new theatre under construction at the Queensland Cultural Centre with more than a third of the 217 panels installed.

Lendlease Construction Update: December 2021

2021 has been a huge year of progress for the New Performing Arts Venue (NPAV) project. In December 2020, Lendlease completed the enabling and earth works components, and now a year later the new theatre is starting to take shape following two large concrete pours to form the first concrete slabs of the new theatre auditorium.
