This fact sheet complements feedback published on Arts Queensland’s Funding Recipients webpage. Insights and advice from the Arts Assessment Panel of industry peers who assessed the applications can be found here. They advised that successful applications were:

  •  Transformative, prestigious and highly strategic opportunities
  •  Clearly articulated

Successful proposals also provided:

  •  Evidence of thorough planning
  •  Clear, well-planned budgets
  •  Evidence of other sources of funding

They also advised that applicants check for grammar and spelling mistakes. First impressions count!

Information about completed projects with reflections and advice from recipients can be found on the Case Studies page.
