Case study: White Porcelain Doll

Prying Eye’s new dance work White Porcelain Doll explores the strength of long-term female hostages and the coping mechanisms developed to withstand actions of their captors.

In partnership with the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts through the Fresh Ground program and funded through Arts Queensland’s Projects and Program Fund, project outcomes included exploration of new and innovative ways to integrate video art with dance theatre, collaboration with artists, workshops with students and raising the company’s profile in Brisbane.

Prying Eye is a Queensland based dance company. Read more about White Porcelain Doll and the project’s outcomes in the recently added case study.
