First Nations Fashion and Textiles Accelerator Fund recipients
- Jira Models Pty Ltd - $60,000 for a textile fashion pilot connecting First Nation communities with Indian artisan textile communities.
- Minjerribah Art Studio & Cottage Pty Ltd (Delvene Cockatoo-Collins) - $59,974 to upscale textile production and fashion making to increase supply of Delvene Cockatoo-Collins’ art garments.
- Ms Francoise Lane - $59,400 for infrastructure to support fashion collection development and small production runs.
- Bamanga Bubu Ngadimunku Aboriginal Corporation - $60,000 to build a sustainable Yalanji Arts textile business by expanding production and new product lines.
- Badhulgaw Kuthinaw Mudh TSI Corporation Bami Thaynamul (Rags to Riches) - $60,000 production machinery upgrades, training and collaborations.
- Ms Desert-Rain Magpie (Magpie Dreaming) - $54,505 for Deadly Creative Sistas’ development of a fashion collection for CIAF 2026 and key fashion production skills training.
- Mrs Lisa Sorbie Martin - $35,000 for The Luxury of Innovation project to create a collection of homewares showcasing designs and colours of the Torres Strait Islands.
- Ms Irene Robinson - $30,000 for 2 Sistas Strong Footprints’ business research to grow a strong fashion business.
