Some businesses offer paid services to write grants, however you are the best person to articulate your project, and this is best done with clear language. Think about who, what, where, why, when and how – its as simple as that.

Other grant bodies

Starting local is best – each local government in Queensland partners with Arts Queensland to provide Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF). Funding through the Indigenous Regional Arts Development Fund is available in Queensland regional and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. In Brisbane, Creative Sparks is offered through Brisbane City Council. Call your local council or jump on their website and do a quick search.

For arts projects with and for multicultural communities there is the Celebrating Multicultural Queensland Program

For arts projects focussed on community benefit there is also the Building Better regions funding.

Tourism & Events Queensland can support events with tourism benefits.

Nationally, funding is available through:
